2027 BMW iX3

I'm blown away by the high marks reviewers are giving this Beemer. It's fascinating to read about the Neue Klasse's "Heart of Joy" processor "For driving pleasure that pushes the limits of physics."

I'm so glad BMW's going to make an automobile, the (Neue) i3, based on the same platform because I'll never buy an SUV.

I think it's a nice homage to the 1962 BMW 1500. Crash safety requirements have made front ends more boxy so the pedestrian does not go flying in the air, but can land comfortably onto the hood.

That's a relief! Thought you were going to say the drivers.
I have friends that have BMWs and have to be very careful what I say with them. But there is truth to what you hear about the drivers... But it's like politics, sometimes better to keep your mouth shut.

If you have 2 hours, Kyle goes deep with his iX3 impressions and ends with great interviews with the battery and chassis engineers. The one he got to drive had the M steering wheel, which IMO is way better than the weird standard steering wheel with its 2 vertical spokes.

I'm indifferent to the 2 vertical spokes. Now that the gauges have been removed...would I rather look at my empty dash or some spokes? As long as the entire steering wheel is heated, I'll happily accept the original design.
