And because it’s direct from United Chargers, it should still be eligible for the (up to) $600 Roulez Vert incentive (notwithstanding the fact that I still haven’t received my $600 yet due to my submission for the EVSE rebate not indicating my middle name as it appears on my drivers license and car registration ).

What’s the process like to claim?

Easy enough, you’ve already set up your Roulez Vert account through BMW Laval I assume, so all you have to do is log in once you have possession of the car and the EVSE, fill in the deets and upload a copy of the EVSE invoice as well as a copy of the vehicle sales/lease contract. I did that in early August, and then I logged in to check for status updates every week or so, and not long after Labour Day one of the notifications in my account told me there was an error in the submission, and to correct it. So I corrected the names to match, and submitted again and for almost three months it showed “demande en correction.” Last week a new button showed up that allowed me to “enregistrer soumission” and and another for “soumettre demande.” So now I’m waiting.

You meant 40A maximum, right ? I am considering buying a Grizzl-E considering the gov. incentives we have.
And yes, I had the wall bracket printed before I found out the '23s started shipping with the BMW bracket, and then before I decided to get the Grizzl-E (and list the BMW Flexible Fast Charger on Kijiji and possibly eBay). I expect to get the full $600 back soon (my Grizzly-E “Smart” was $699 plus taxes). Don’t get the “Smart”. It’s not smart, just a waste of $50.

On the Mini there are 2 settings (Maximum and Reduced) for level 2 charging. Maximum (limited by the Mini itself) is 7400W (240V @ 30.8A) too much for your inverter. Reduced, like others have said is 16A @ 240V 3840W. I charge with an off grid system (5000W @ 240V), so I have to remember to set level 2 charging with the Flex Charger to "Reduced" when switching from on grid to off grid charging.
Do you make those setting changes on the cell phone Mini APP??
