2018 vs 2019 clarity

Reasons why this will probably be my first and last Clarity:

1. No front camera
2. No overview camera
3. No lane warning sound or lights
4. ICE coming on when "it feels lit it."

I am also unhappy with the lack of back crosstraffic alert. Wonder why they laft that out. Otherwise I still love it.

Because those systems are always broken and warn about the semi on the highway that's crossing 500 ft behind and across three medians from you.

They used to work pretty well for me in my Mazda 6. It saved me a couple of times when backing up from a very tight space between two behemoth pickups!

Nice catch, I see VIN numbers over 600. Some in Vancouver Canada too.

Is that for digits 12-14 of the VIN? Because mine is 800 and I’m in the interior of B.C. (Canada). Just bought my Clarity about 8 or 9 days ago.

I am happy with the system in my CRV and wish that it was an option on the Clarity.

All Canadian models have an 8 in the 12th position. I think this is how Honda differentiates between the US and Canadian Models.

by the time you buy a new one those won't be issues anymore.
