Do we want those? I keep watching battery tear down videos from Will Prowse and the majority of the CN batteries are just not what they advertise. Cheap cells, not enough safeguards, not hooked up temp sensors, etc.
For me, I struggle with colder temps. LiFePo4 can't take a charge under 30 degrees or something. Well, that's most nights from october to april up here. I'm sure the EV battery cells are better than a standard 12v unit, perhaps are self-heating, but that all just eats energy. Ultimately, we need a new tech that is better in the cold for wider adoption up here.
