Tesla revealed in its SEC filing today that its CEO Elon Musk had bought the company’s stock for $25 million. Now he holds 33,737,921 Tesla shares. In early May, Elon bought 33,000 shares in the open market for little less than $10 million.
EV's in Red, White, or Blue?
Any other color welcome too!
We are the southern rural gateway to the Olympic Mtns and Pacific Coast.
Especially here, want to show that when it comes to mileage, EV's get the most!
Humans need to get real about owning our pollution.
EV owners can inspire change and...
Hi,
I'm new here. I've been a fan of Tesla since 2010, investor since 2012 and Model 3 reservation holder since April 1, 2016. I found myself spending a lot of time following the company in the evenings after work, so I finally decided to start a new YouTube channel and share my thoughts. I...
Hi fellow Tesla owners,
My husband and I have been Tesla owners (Model S 75) since December 2017 and since then we've spent a crazy amount of time reading about Tesla (forums, Twitter, Reddit, etc).
We've never spent so much time reading for any other car that we've owned - I don't think we've...
My latest project which I was working on during my spare time in the last four months is finished! I’ve developed a SmartHome IOT Energy manager as a proof of concept which uses along other features the same interface as the Tesla App to start/stop the charging process, preconditions the car and...
Is Tesla residential solar panel offering competitive as a standalone solution (I have to assume not, but I have not done the research). Does Tesla offer any incentives to new or existing Tesla car buyers to install solar roof panels at the home where the Tesla will be charged nightly?

For those who got the long awaited "in 3 to 6 weeks your wildest dreams will come true" notification email. A place to ask the final "should I or shouldn't I?", to get the cold feet warm, a pat on the back, a "welcome to the club, son"?
For I just got the email, and what I keep hearing from...
https://insideevs.com/tesla-sends-memo-workers-get-model-3-production-300-per-day/
"At the time of Field’s email, Tesla was making more than 200 Model 3 sedans a day on every line, he wrote."
This was absolutely not a case at the beginning of the month, so this is great to hear that they have...
Several questions come to mind:
1. Can the President unilaterally declare a tariff? Isn't that one of the powers which the Constitution reserves to Congress?
Unfortunately, it seems pretty clear that Presidents have broad powers to impose tariffs, without any action by or approval from...
Surprising no one, GM and Tesla are both coming up on 200,000 sales.
Steven has already discussed Tesla hitting 200k in 2018.

But GM has also stated they will exceed 200,000 sales this year...
Personally, FSD will not be a deciding factor in any future vehicle purchase. I won't be adding it to my Model 3. (I don't even care about lane keep or ACC! Guess that's why I bought a Bolt without hesitation. ;) )
But I know a lot of people do, and I do think it is an interesting and exciting...
Now that Elon and all of Tesla has decided to make the model Y on the model 3 platform it could come soon. Only problem is the model 3 is in such demand and back log that will be the deciding issue for the production date of the Y.
It will be very interesting to see what happens.
A pick up will...

While on my way to work in my Bolt this morning, I saw a shape driving past me at an intersection that looked familiar... but that I hadn’t ever seen on the road before.
From a distance I thought it was a Model S...
VW CEO Blasts Tesla For Low Sales, Losing Millions
With all the trouble of jail terms, lawsuits and lost billions of the #dieselgate scandal apparently behind him and forgotten, Volkswagen CEO’s Matthias Müller has taken it upon himself to warn the world that the 15-yr-old Tesla doesn't sell...
I figured I'd start a thread on this and also try out the new forum. Has anyone heard anything more about the gift Elon talked about for those that reserved a Model 3 on the first day? I know there was a lot of speculation on what the gift would be, but nothing from Tesla officially.
Looking to buy one! How has the purchasing process been? I'm assuming they have a great customer experience, but was just curious if anyone has been through the end-to-end process and what it was like...
China is a key market for any OEM, but it's not an easy nut to crack. Despite hurtles and some early setbacks, Tesla seems to be continually gaining steam. They recently put out a video featuring some of their customers there talking about their cars.
On a side note, I was a little surprised...
