  3. I hope you enjoyed the video, it was certainly fun to work on. And yes, Bailey really helped me getting over it

  4. Actually, a recent supportive article from Forbes confirms that as well:)

"Kona EV – easily the segment´s best buy
Overall, the Hyundai Kona electric resides as one of the best all-round EVs one can order today at this price point."

  5. Hot on the heels of Hyundai/Kia in this market (and Australia) are the Chinese automakers of MG and BYD. The just-released BYD Atto 3 will compete directly with the Kona yet is fully equipped at 73% of the price of the Kona's entry model. It has a similar size and range, an LFP battery, a heat pump and a VTOL vehicle to load adapter like the Ioniq 5.

My cousin bought one but I haven't seen it yet.

  6. I read somewhere that the Japanese are worried about the South Korean OEMs not the others. Seems rightly so. Toyota seemingly 'missed the boat'. Big time.
As for the Chinese, I am not yet ready to buy their cars - at any price. Concerned about both quality and after sales service.

Hyundai/Kia are definitely 2 steps ahead of the Japanese on electric vehicle -- much like the Japanese were 2 steps ahead of Detroit on small cars in the late sixties and seventies.

  9. Ironically the same reservations I have about Tesla.
Certainly that's true regarding the 800V architecture on the E-GMP cars.
