On the 2022 SE: (EDIT: Iconic trim)

    1) The switch to the left of the regenerative braking switch:
    • Activates the auto-parallel parking system - I still have not attempted this
    • Silences the beeps and closes the parking sensor screen if the car is NOT in reverse (I frequently use that switch at drive through windows) - so it will silence the forward parking sensors when they are not happy
    2) The button to the right of the hazard lights button is for the intelligent safety systems. You can configure the button so that it deactivates any combination of:
    • Front collision warning
    • Pedestrian warning
    • Lane departure warning
I have not seen a way to silence rear parking sensors.

As they all say. That toggle is missing...

Just got back from the dealer and my sales guy told me that the Signature no longer has those options anymore.

He said he noticed it when they received the car from port and asked service. Service told him those options are no longer available on the Signature Trim :(.

Maybe @Vinnie will give us an update once his dealer gets back to him.

    Hello all,

Bringing this thread back from the dead. I haven't had a chance to get the parking assist guide/lines fixed by my Dealer and I've just ignored it until now when I brought my SE for its annual service. I told them about the issue and my service guy said he reprogrammed something and now the lines are there as well as the Contrast and Brightness options are functioning as it should. I can find out exactly what he reprogrammed later when I pick up the car. Hopefully by this time, most of the people here with the 2022 SE Signature trim has resolved this issue.

This is the best possible reason to bring back an old thread.

I don't remember anyone else who didn't have the parking assist guide lines get them added at the dealer. Others said their dealer blamed the problem on the trim level. Hopefully, you can get a good explanation that can be repeated to other dealer's service staff.

That would be awesome if you found out what they did.

My service adviser and salesman both were adamant that the all 2022 signature trims did not have it any longer.

This new dealer, Mini of San Diego, the service Dept, I've been blown away so far. What's need is that they send you the video after they service your car where the tech shows and discusses what was done to the car. I would've included the video here but the first part of the video included a shot of the service paper work that shows all my personal information. But in that video, he mentioned about the issue I brought up with the parking lines missing and how he fixed it. I can't make out exactly what he re programmed but it sounded like TEC (or something) SVC module and that did the trick. The other issue I had them look at, and it has not been fixed is the whirring/rattling noise on the front driver side when you turn on the AC. It's been discussed on this thread External fan noise when running AC or battery conditioning starts | Inside EVS Forum. Post 14 has a video of the exact same noise that I hear. Although poster mentioned that it is normal, I somewhat disagree so I had the dealer look at it for my peace of mind.

    Thanks Vinnie for the update!

I'll be taking mine to the a different dealership in Houston tomorrow. I wished we had a service department like yours that goes above and beyond even once in a while. I tried to speak to the service manager at the location I purchased my SE and never got a call back still after 3 days of leaving messages for him. Receptionist says he's in a "meeting" every time I call. I'll report back when I get my SE back from the other dealership and see if they are able to fix it.

Just got my car back from the dealership and now I have parking lines along with the contrast/brightness settings.

At first we thought it didn’t work but I needed to select parking lines to activate it.

There’s already a ‘recall’ for this issue which is to reprogram the Telemetric in the SVC or SCV module. The service advisor showed me the bulletin and took around 5 hours to finish reprogramming.
Hope this helps others that are missing the parking lines.

Shoutout to @Vinnie for having the dealership explain what they did!
