  1. This time the offer is valid from July 19/2022 until June 30/2023 , however its not "free" anymore but instead limited to $100.
RBC debit card (as well as RBC credit card) included this time- link your card to a Petro points card, you will be billed for the session, but will receive a bill credit on your next statement.:)

  4. Free power? Well, we went to a 1000+km journey around Canada Day and got free charge at PetroCanada and Electrify Canada DC chargers on the 401 and Kingston. It was funny, at the Cobourg PetroCan unit the charger did not ask for credit card just instructed to plug the car in and voila! the charge started. My wife said something is wrong with the unit .... I said if so it is OK with me. Same thing happened in Kingston at an other PetroCan station and at an Electrify Canada Charger at a Can Tire store. Actually the Electrify Canada unit had a display saying that there is no charge for power during Canada Day. That explained things --- until on the way home an July 2nd the Cobourg station with two chargers I plugged in and I was asked for the credit card. The fellow beside me, charging his Leaf noticed and said to me 'hey I am getting my power for free!'. Indeed he did. So did an other guy who plugged into the charger after the Leaf left. So what gives? It was not the $9.44 on my VISA what bothered me, but I called PetroCan from home and after some discussion I was credited the $9.44. The funny thing was that the customer service had no clue what was going on.
