It seems that you have certainly demonstrated that the number will not change simply by waiting and re-measuring at a later time...

Is it possible for you to drive these vehicles, and charge / discharge them in order to demonstrate that the capacity reading will indeed update to a true value? You are one of a very few forum members who have seen this behavior. It would be nice if you could demonstrate how to recover a true reading!

    Sure i will try
    But this is weird
Because i have one before and it kept shows 55Ah even after 1 months of regular driving and full charging/discharging cycles then it dropped gradually to 53.2 Ah and kinda stayed on that
So, we know that the readings is depending on alot of things but what is that thing that keeps the readings at 55?!
Maybe long time reset (as the 12v drained for long time)?
Ill keep an eye for the data
    By the way
That is the reason that I didn't put my data in the spreadsheet because i want to be precise and to give a real data

Anyone having issues with AP200 with beta version? I tried to use it today on my clarity and got the following screen, clicking ok takes you to google play store and there no updates available. When you click Open from play store it brings back to the MaxiAP200 app and it is going thru the same loop.

I just tried mine and it is working OK.
Have you changed anything (for instance, gotten a new phone, or similar)?

No. Nothing changed on my side. I will try uninstalling and installing the app today.

I just reinstalled the app and it is back to version 2.01 not getting the beta version 2.01.54 and obviously it is not reading the battery pack capacity.

I conveyed your problem to Autel. This is precisely the symptom that they claim to have fixed.
If / when they respond, I will report back,
In the meantime, keep checking every few days, there have been multiple occurrences where functionality just returned on its own.

Still waiting for a response about @Rangavasu, who has the same problem. I sent another message this morning informing them that you are also having the same trouble. They are often not very responsive. I wish this could be solved once and for all.

Having the same issue. Message "... vehicule information does not match...". Uninstalled ap200 and erased data/cache to make a clean install. Honda Clarity module revert to version 2.01. No more beta version!

  15. I've had the same issue a couple of times now. All you can do is cross your fingers and wait, hoping that the beta version gets pushed from the server to your device at some point. That is what happened for me the last time. It took a couple of weeks.

Sadly, this seems true. I usually report when a forum member has this issue to Autel.
Lately, I just don't seem to get a response any more.

I contacted Autel via Amazon and after back and forth messages they said their tech pushed the beta version. I just verified in the app that I got the 2.01.54.

Seeing these latest posts made me plug in the Autel as well. Worked great. @Rangavasu , also from me, thanks for getting Autel to push the Beta version out again.

My 2018 base Clarity that I bought new has about 47,000 miles on it. I've never used any charger other than the OEM 115V slow charger, which is in my garage where I have an evaporative (swamp) cooler that keeps the summer temperatures somewhat moderated. My home is in Peoria, AZ (a suburb of Phoenix). My driving environment is about 70% on suburban streets and 30% freeway driving at 65-75 mph.

My typical Guess-O-Meter range estimate used to be in the low to mid 40s but it has been dropping off over the past 3 years and now is typically in the low to mid 30s. After reading through this forum I purchased the Vgate iCar Pro BLE 4.0 OBD tester and the Car Scanner Pro app.

Today, I checked my battery capacity for the first time using these tools. My battery capacity reading is 43.58. That's a bit on the low side, isn't it?

    Welcome to the Forum !

As you may have read, we have a shared spreadsheet where forum members have pooled together a lot of test results. From this spreadsheet it is easy to see how your Clarity is 'stacking up' to others with similar age / miles.

I took the liberty of adding your measurement to the spreadsheet (from the data you provided), and here is how you compare to others:

Our data is somewhat limited with vehicles that are in the 50K miles realm. My eyeball says that 46 Ah would be more 'typical' for a vehicle with your mileage. However, your reading of 43.58 is 95% of what I would consider 'typical', so I wouldn't be too concerned. I would encourage you to keep monitoring this going forward, and help us learn more about these trends. I track mine every month or-two.

You can get to the shared spreadsheet yourself here:

Or, if you aren't so computer savvy, I am happy to enter data for you if you post it here going forward.

Thanks for the quick response and for compiling the data. As I thought, my battery capacity is a bit on the low side, about 80% of the original capacity. That means I have the dubious distinction of the lowest (or second lowest?) measurement in the data base!

The Guess-o-Meter battery range numbers have slowly dropped from mid-to-low 40s when new to mid-to-low 30s at present, which is also about a 20% reduction, so this indicator is consistent with the capacity measurement. I'll make capacity measurements from time to time to see what the trend is like from here on out.

Has anyone in this group had a battery replaced under warranty due to the charge capacity dropping below the warranty threshold?
