Can't change the center caps on Power Spoke wheels, they're built into the cover piece. Unless someone knows of some magic trick to separate out the center part, but I don't think there is one. My dealer certainly said there wasn't and I had to buy caps for my snow wheels.

I appreciate the playfulness and creativity of the person who did that.

I never subscribe to the "traditionalist" and/or "purist" viewpoint which I find rather rigid, boring and uninspiring.

I recall seeing mk1/2/3/4 VW rocking Mercedes Benz wheels in VAG events and I thought it was fun and interesting.

Oh, I forgot--they're actually standard center caps, but I think you'd have to break the wheel cover to get them out.

You can probably just use duct tape and rip it out. I mean my center caps went to my winter loop spokes and now I have self-balancing ones for the black tentacle wheels.

Any idea what the MSRP of the power spoke wheels are?

I have a set of "like new" with the factory summer tires that I took off shortly after I took delivery that I might consider selling at the right price.

Seattle MINI parts shows them for at least $500 per wheel (I think, the name doesn't match the picture), which sounds right to me. I spent roughly that much to get actual Spectre Grey wheels for my snow tires.

I weighed my green thingie for @Rexsio, who planned to make his own Power Spoke balancing accessory.

My thingie weighs 75 grams. I wonder what lead-to-plastic glue can withstand the centrifugal forces of a high-speed wheel balancer?

Yeah, if the lead comes off it would not be pretty

    Hi,

Thanks for sharing the files. WHen I go to an online 3d printing website it offers me these options. What should I choose? Also, what did you use to stick the weights?

  21. those appear to be the wheels you get when you build a Resolute in Canada. Maybe the same thing in the US?
