Fantastic! I love the handling. I live in the foothills and the curvy roads are fun in this car.

 

I ordered mine back in early September, and today he started making his way across the pond — YAY! — on his way to me here in Pittsburgh. He’s aboard the Hoegh Kobe, which is expected to pull in to the port in Baltimore between December 9th-11th. (The Ask Mini agent I spoke with this afternoon said his info shows it arriving at BALPOA on the 11th, but marinetraffic.com has its ETA as the 9th.)

This is getting more and more exciting!

Oh man, I would be SO thrilled if mine has a relatively short stay in Baltimore, especially after hearing some of you tell us your cars were stuck there for 4 or 5 weeks — UGH!

I know that a delay could pop up at any time and at any point, and that I can’t count on getting mine before the end of the year, but…I’m feeling like there’s a real chance of finally welcoming him home around Christmas-ish. (And yeah, taking delivery before 2022 to qualify for the full $7,500 tax credit is REALLY important to me.) FINGERS CROSSED!!!

 

For the MINI Cooper SE, Island Blue is available only with the Electric Collection spec.

 

I made a sign describing this kind of fun to display at Drive Electric Week events. No other production EV can come close (with the exception of the extinct original Tesla Roadster).
