My Mini is on the Dionysos Leader, left Southhampton last night and will land in Oxnard 10/22. It’s been waiting about a week and a half. Anyone else catch the same ride?

Same here. Now all I have to do is hurry up and wait.

My order hasn’t moved off “Production Begins” since in over a week. Call yesterday and the mini rep said it was scheduled to be done by Oct 1. Don’t see that happening unless the system just hasn’t been updating as it moved through production.

It only takes a couple days to go through assembly and paint. Production begins normally lasts about 2 weeks.

Dang! Seems mine didn't make it. It moved to "Dispatched from Factory" yesterday. I called today and they don't have a ship assignment for it, so it will likely need to wait for the next one. It will also go to Oxnard before heading up to the Seattle area.

Called today and it still hasn't started production. Now they're saying week 41 :mad::mad:

    Some day...

For cars that are on a ship on the way to the US, what status does it sit in on Track My Mini while it enjoys the cruise?

Mine moved to At The Port this morning (very recently).

Mine went from "At the Port" to "In Transit" as it crossed the Atlantic, then back to "At the Port" when it arrived at Baltimore about five days later. When it moved to the trucking carrier it went to "In Transit" before getting to the dealer.

But be warned, there's a huge backup of ships waiting to dock at ports. Hopefully it doesn't include car carriers.

Delays and congestion grow at ports in US and Asia

Hi everyone! New to this forum but I've been following and lurking for a few months now. Placed an order back in early August with my local dealer. Got the production number and been following its progress on My Mini site. Yesterday, the status finally changed from "Order Received" to "Scheduled for Production". Weird thing happened though. The car is a totally different one now. I initially had a British green color with the Signature Plus trim. It has been showing this since the beginning. Now it's showing I ordered a White Silver metallic with Iconic trim. Not sure what to do at this point. Wondering if this is just a glitch.

@Vinnie I recommend contacting your Motoring Advisor to see if they can figure out what happened. They should be motivated to make sure the car that is built is the one you ordered.

You could also call 1-866-ASK-MINI and speak to a representative to ask them to confirm the configuration.

It would be a shame to wait months only to be looking at a car that isn't the one you were waiting for!

    I'm in a similar boat:

I ordered body color roof/mirrors (grey) but the dealer goofed and ordered me black. I told him and he showed me it's fixed on his end. Called ask mini and they said to go through the dealer. Still says black on track my mini, though.

Figured if it comes out black roof/mirrors, I'm going to hit the dealer up for a roof sticker in black/grey checker. The mirrors I can live with.

Mirror caps are easy to replace, dealer should be able to take care of that. Or paint them.

I moved to Scheduled For Production!!!

I did find out that Active Cruise Control ($750 upgrade on Signature) is no longer available due to chip shortage.

Yup. No big deal for me because I wasn’t sure I wanted it. My parents ordered one as well and they did want it. Oh well.

I am coming from a 2008 Jeep Wrangler, so even what’s included in the Signature model is super advanced and posh. I have never had even a backup camera

I have also never used cruise control of any sort.

Are you one of those annoying people on the freeway that can't drive a constant speed? The ones that drive slow in the right lane until you change lanes to pass them and then they speed up?

Like I said, I drive a 13 year old Jeep with a 4” lift and 37” tires. I can’t speed up. I am the guy who has to punch it and build up speed and fight my way into changing lanes.

The Mini SE is going to be a whole new world then.

We currently have a JCW Countryman which is nice becuse here in New Jersey there are a lot of weird highways with retail on both sides and in the middle and no lights so there's a lot of manic merging. From what I can tell in our test drive the SE is even punchier than our JCW so we'll be good there. On the other hand, we did also just order a Jeep Wrangler because my mother in law's car that we borrow when we've needed something bigger is getting a little long in the tooth and that thing from our test drive is a slow moving boat so that will take some getting used to!

On my build it went to Exterior Body Assembly on 9/25, Paint booth 9/28 (there's a weekend in there which I think accounts for why this was 3 days between those steps instead of 1) and then carrier was assigned 9/29. It made it through a 6 different stages on the 28th, so these stages aren't very well placed out.
