Updated last post with the dealer photo we got. We are so excited we have not stopped yet to take a picture in front of the car; too many switches and knobs to play with, hehe.
My mini is on the ship Donington and will soon dock in Baltimore. Next stop is Brunswick, Georgia and then off to the dealer. This wait has been agonizing.
My SE is on another ship inbound: Drive Green Highway. What a name! Loaded a couple of days ago. I'm thinking early 2023 delivery.
6/24/22 Ordered 8/2/22 Received production number 8/10/22 Scheduled for Production 10/7/22 Production begins -- 8.5 weeks after it was scheduled 10/24/22 At the port -- Not bad, 17 days in production. 11/25/22 In Transit -- Sat at the dock for a little over a month. 12/16/22 At the Port (Scheduled) -- Sat on a ship for 22 days So... is there any chance that my car will make it to the dealership so they can have it ready for me before the end of the year? It seems unlikely with Christmas and New Years holidays. Anyone want to take a guess?
If my SE will be staying on Drive Green Highway to its ultimate port, then its destination is Galveston.
In some strange way, it almost seems like they want me to cancel my order. But no matter how hard they try, I'm not canceling.
Did your Mini ever get loaded onto a ship? My mini is en-route to Brunswick and is supposed to arrive tomorrow. Here's the crazy thing... The Hawaiian Highway left Southampton 5 days after the Donington, but it arrived in Brunswick on Dec 13th - 4 days earlier.
Our mini is at the dealer! Just a few days short of six months from when we ordered! Hoping to go Monday or Tuesday to pick it up.
Seems the recent deliveries of local cars and Canadian cars were priority 2 for shipment. From what I was able to decipher from my shipping tags. Basically next available ship, direct dispatch via lorry to the dock
