Creep On/Off?

    When I got my SE, nobody knew how it worked. I'm unclear what "over-accelerating" would be and don't understand how it affects the brake pads. Also, that someone on this forum showed a graph demonstrating that accelerating a BEV quickly to the target speed doesn't use more power than accelerating slowly. Anyway, before getting my SE I spent 20 years driving a gen-1 Honda Insight. I'm done with hyper-miling.

  3. Well, just using common sense, you know that accelerating to a higher speed than what you're going for (I used over-accelerating) is wasteful in general, no matter if it's an ice car or EV. Then you'll have to slow down again, potentially using brakes.

    Yeah, my experience is also that it doesn't make a huge difference if you accelerate faster or slower in an EV, since you then "coast" more afterwards.
