Clarity Back-up sensors

It is integrated into the backup camera but lacks cross traffic check and automated braking that usually comes with these systems.

 

We have the rear parking sensors on our Clarity but don't know how they're in any way integrated with the back-up camera. The camera shows what's behind the car and the sensors make a beeping noise. Maybe I'm missing something.

 

no (nada, zilch, null) rear parking sensor electronics integration with anything at all.

The ultrasonic sensors in the bumper wire to a module that gets mounted under the felt on the driver side of the trunk. There are plastic wire ties which "integrate" the wire harness with the internal chassis.

The module in the back side of the trunk, under the felt, beeps. If you have good hearing, with the volume turned up all the way (at install, you have take the felt liner out to adjust the volume post install), you will hear the beeps.

The Bolt and Volts integrate all those warnings into the display and show red arrows in the rear picture if something is coming by radar, and little lines in the driver's display that show distance in front and I think it was rear too. Probably one of the many upgrades, but that was an "integrated system".

I like Clarity a lot overall (better than both Volts), but not for the back up sensors

I was curious where did you get the parking sensors for the front bumper? Were these OEM sensors from the Honda dealer? If these are not OEM parking sensors from Honda, can you please provide the link.

Has anyone installed parking sensors on their front and rear bumpers? If so, can you please post photos and videos. I may be considering these. Thank you.
