10,500km Kona to California

  1. Picked up this one from apu after he changed his new ride to an Ionic 5. It has the 135/90/17 tire on the appropriate rim and fits the back wheels just fine. If I did receive a flat on the front, I would install the donut on the back and move the good full sized tire to the front so as not to have the spare as a drive wheel. There are others in the spare tire thread including Modern Spare, but quite pricy.

  4. My last 4 cars didn't have a spare tire. This isn't an EV-centric issue.

    Well this is quite a report. Thanks for sharing it. I also have 2021 Kona E. I find your average consumption is on the high side. You must have had cold weather or carrying a significant load. How many passengers?

    I know. The 30% number I quoted from AAA for cars NOT having Spare Tires was for ALL cars. Soon it will probably be 50%.
