I made an error when I checked in. I was in Courtenay. I was at 50% and it was charging at about 47kw
I see your checkin May 6/19 on Plugshare . Did it throw an error after 80% or was the session trouble free (just plug in and activate charger via rfid or cell - no com error)? (SOC and charging rates would be nice) Lets hope it works with all Hyundai products Plugshare should reveal soon.
I wonder if it affects Niro as well, I ran into a new owner the other day and mentioned the issue with Kona not charging but I didn't stick around to see as there was another car charging at the time (asked her to comment on Plugshare one way or other)
EDIT I see she did leave a comment of unable to charge

but that was the 5th so maybe an overnight patch, lets hope so

With the more recent failure of a Kia Niro charge we don't want them to think Nanaimo location is somehow fixed
FINALLY!Okay I just charged up at the super store charger in Nanaimo and it seems to be working fine.
Well I really don't know if that was the error or if it was mine after all the sun was on the screen of the phone and I didn't have my glasses on and I was talking with someone about EVs. And when you speak to any woman she will tell you just how good males are at multi tasking. Enough said!!!FINALLY!
I will try it this weekend.
Funny you checked in Nanaimo when at Courtenay, when I spoke to the B.C.Hydro teck one time he mentioned one of the software fixes was when logging into the Nanaimo DCFC it would unlock the Courteney DCFC![]()

Too high SOC to try yet, but May 10 check in shows successful on an Ionic, I might wait a bit yetHas it worked for you?
Tried it this morning with success. Started @ 50% SOC and after trying everything to make it error (turned car on/off, locked and unlocked doors, turn on HVAC) it refused to stop charging and supplied me with a 45kW rate till I finally got bored after 30 minutes @72% SOC and pushed the stop button on the charger LCD screen and left .Has it worked for you?
This is unreal. I think that they are so focused on the dollar making potential of these machines are closing there decisions. The saga continues with an unsuccessful charge attempt at Quallicum beach:

This time the card reader (Greenlots network) wouldn't recognize my RFID card, almost like a defective card reader symptom. As stated in the Plugshare check in, no action from the display screen at all when presenting the Greenlots card, so I tried 2 other RFID cards (Flo and Chargepoint) at least I got some action displayed "no access" or something close to that, but zero action from Greenlots RFID card.
L2 across the road for 1H, got me to Nanaimo where the Greenlots RFID card worked perfect (and so did the charger-no com error).
Phoned BC Hydro(from home) and advised of the problem ( also FWIW still waiting for the BC Hydro RFID card to be mailed 6 weeks ago) and also Greenlots both advised me to phone them with the machine ID # while at the machine and they would remote start it- at which point I told them I have no cellphone and don't want to have to be forced to purchase one just to avoid networking or whatever problems on their machines.
These machines are not always located in cell reception area's and "batch file" processes have been working well for years if there are to be $ applied for a charge. Greenlots also advised me a new RFID card is not necessary as it worked in Nanaimo.
Yawn...
If anyone out there has an RFID Greenlots card and is in that area please try and report back, this type of problem could be hard to trace as most people use a cell to activate.
Note : this machine is also ABB tera 53cj model.
Not so sure Greenlots app would work any better judging by these comments on Google play's website :This is unreal. I think that they are so focused on the dollar making potential of these machines are closing there decisions.
It is allot easier to just scan the phone. Not so sure Greenlots app would work any better judging by these comments on Google play's website :

I guess the only real advantage to having a phone (if service available) is to have them start the charge remotely.
If you have oneIt is allot easier to just scan the phone.
Yeah for sure.If you have one
