coolant

I'm new to EV cars, and I've been reading the manual for my Kona Electric and maintenance required. Regarding the coolant, is this something I need to bring the car to the dealership for? or is the coolant something I could buy from auto like autozone or o'reillys?

You should be able to buy and refill it yourself.

I'm pretty sure you can get it from autozone or any US Chain, as I'm assuming you are from the US? I haven't had to refill mine yet so can't give you a particular brand. Just make sure you get the correctly pre-diluted ratio, which you can find in the Kona EV owner's manual in the maintenance section. If you get 100% Coolant, you will have to dilute it yourself. If in doubt, just call your dealership and they should tell you which brand, or percentage dilution to use.
