Hondalink - Not working with "No Data" message last few days?

I got a phone call from Honda today, number came up simply as: +1 800-999-1009 After telling her HondaLink was working, she asked me if there was anything else, and I gave her a piece of my mind 1. After filling in the pop-up survey in the app, how the right arrow does nothing, can't submit my comments, and 2. how insane it is for the engine to start up when car is 100% charged while going downhill (told her I live on the top of a hill, car will try to do regen whenever I leave home), and 3. that app should have an 80% charge level cutoff option. (She received it well, and it was all recorded.)

Insightman,

Dank has a 2019 model year Clarity. When I read Dank's first comment earlier today, I thought the conjecture about only early 2018 Clarities still having the incomplete feature set problem was incorrect. Dank's second comment, although dashing your hopes, keeps the conjecture alive. BTW, often one must ask HondaLink twice to "find my car."

HondaLink tech sent me an email this morning saying that they were still working on the problem for my Clarity and would follow up when a fix or update becomes available.

Twice! Luxury! It barely works for me. One time I was visiting my inlaws, sitting out on the front porch bored, so I thought I'd see how many times I'd have to try, with the car sitting parked right in front of me and a cell tower visible down the road. I had to hit 'find my car' 27 times for it to show me where it was. So 26 times it came back with the message that it can't provide the location of a moving vehicle. Absolutely pathetic app.

Now Find My Car shows "Services Undergoing Maintenance" and claims they'll be "back online at 2025-09-11 7:30 AM."

HondaLink tech just called to check if the HondaLink app was fully functional for my Clarity after today's app update. Unfortunately, "find my car" still does not work for me (cannot locate a moving vehicle even when the Clarity is stationary) and my odometer is still about two months out of date. The tech said that Honda will continue working on the issue. The tech also that that I was the only Clarity owner she has spoken with for whom the app still is not fully functional. At least I get to turn my HondaLink app back on to get the SOC data.

Does anyone else still have a problem with "find my car?" In particular, Insightman, do you still have a problem? If one still has the problem, would you please provide the production date (on the VIN sticker on the drivers door jam) and, perhaps, the last six digits of the VIN of your Clarity?

Find my car works for me and all the other data - odometer, EV and HV range, plugged in, charging, etc. work too.

"Find my car" is still working for both of my Claritys. Currently, it shows that my gray Clarity is at the local dealership, getting the recalled fuel pump replaced.

I've gotten 3 calls from "Lucy" saying my ticket was escalated or that a fix has been applied. Still having inconsistent notifications or none that my car has stopped charging or needs to be plugged in. But ain't no way I'm logging out and logging back in to test anything again. LOL Also Find my car no longer working for me

I have a 2018 Honda clarity phev touring. Odometer hasn’t been correct for several months. Other than during recent outage, I can see fuel and electrical level. I haven’t received notifications that the car has stopped/ started charging for a long time. I haven’t tried to remotely start climate. Location of car is accurate. VIN last digits 014644

I have a 2021, and no odometer, find my car, or start remote climate control from the app. Charging status, remote climate (if started by my key fob) and the range estimates all update correctly. I am still trying to get a resolution with my ticket open after the global outage. Fingers crossed because they have already told me it should be fixed twice.

One thing to try, even if you are concerned about being able to log in again, is to completely delete the app and reinstall. It could be some cruft in the app's data cache that isn't getting cleaned and replaced with current data.

Well, this is an interesting thread... It seems that we are seeing everything under the sun.
I just tried it and experienced something that I don't think anyone has reported [yet].
I could "find my car" - but only after several failed attempts (cannot locate moving vehicle, etc).

Here is the new thing - My mileage is correct, and the EV charge is good. But look at my gas status !
I have a full tank and the HV miles (368 mi) reflect this, but the bar graph is showing a tank that is nearly empty.

Everything shows up just fine on the dashboard of course.

It happens to me before, the HV miles is always updated, but sometime the graph is behind the time. It usually will catch up when it feels like it.

Can't complain much for "free" service compare to the subscription cost for other Honda models.

Or maybe the most recent HondaLink update somehow infiltrated your car's ECU and installed new firmware, converting your Clarity into a super-dooper, incredibly efficient, high-mileage machine! Extrapolating from your current graphical data, you should be able to get about 3000 miles out of a full tank of gas. (I might need to buy a 3rd Clarity.) ;)
