Mine went into production a week after Methorian's. I am still in "production begins". I dont know if the 11th is still the date.

I am guessing even if it is completed on the 11th it doesnt sail to Oxnard until the 28th so a few more days delay will still have me on the boat the 28th. That puts me at end of June beginning of July.
 
Mine changed to 151 Exterior body assembly today 5/2/22
Went into 150 Production Queue on 4/13/22
Completion date listed as 5/7/22 (was originally 5/4 and then 5/5 before being pushed to 5/7)

Which guide are you referring to here? Since I'm at the port I'm of course trying to find possible ships it could make it on to. Watched these Baltimore bound "K" Line ships go in and out of port recently, but no more till mid May.

I found the WW ship schedule stuff. Fingers crossed for the ARC Defender picking up my SE, doubtful, but a man's gotta have hope!

Not sure how this is happening...my only guess is my SE build was so boring it was a quick fix! I ordered on March 30- was told to expect 4-6 months. Today May 2nd, I'm told it is on the ship Orion Highway from SouthHampton to Baltimore with an eta 5/8/22. Then ~2 more weeks before I receive. Maybe something in the production woes/worker shortage/supply chain has finally righted itself. I may jinks myself, but looks like in Georgia total time from ordering to receiving will be about 8 weeks! That is acceptable!

Wow. I ordered almost 2 months before you and mine is just now waiting at the port in Southampton. Guessing there’s a lot more at play than just order date.

The ship that I was hoping my car would be on has left the Southampton port. I know that it takes about two days after the ship has left for the status in the tracker to change to "In Transit", but I was hoping the code in the super secret back end would change to 194 - "Selected for Shipment" before then (it hasn't). Does anyone know if that's true? Is there still hope that my car is on that boat?

Sorry, I’m waiting at port as well so not sure what the next steps are on the backend. My experience with the similar BMW system has been with a US built car, so no port involved there.

Mine was recently at the port and switched to in transit yesterday 5/2. Based off the vessel schedules the actual day the car left the port was 4/28 or 4/29. So a 3-4 day delay before it showed up on My garage. I checked the hidden code on 4/28 and there wasn't any change. My car arrived at the port on 4/23 and is heading to Port Hueneme.

Thanks, that's very helpful! Mine is heading to NY, so I'm hoping it's on the ship that left today. I'll still be frantically refreshing My Garage until I see that status change!
 
Anyone know if Mini's ever ship via Wallenius Wilhelmsen ships? I've seen lots of folks mention there's on "K-line" ships, but can't say I've seen anyone mention Wallenius Wilhelmsen ship names.

This thread, which "our" tracking thread is based on, indicates Mini does use WW. I've also seen several places say BMW does, so I would assume that extends to Mini. The ship I have my fingers crossed for is a WW ship.

Awesome, thanks! My fingers are crossed for a WW ship that's leaving Southhampton today (ARC Defender), though I know my chances are slim since mine just arrived at port last week.

Same, my car recently left port and the most likely candidate is a Wallenius Wilhelmsen vessel. The other potential is a NYK boat. I’m going to bother my MA to see if I can get the details but in my case it doesn’t really matter as they more or less show up in California at the same time.
 
Does anyone have any idea how ow long from Baltimore port to the Mini of Alexandria, typically?

It looks like a lot of those Minis heading to Baltimore are on the K-Line RORO ships. My vehicle is scheduled to be completed on 5/11. I imagine it would be on the 5/15 departure out of Southampton arriving in Baltimore on 5/24. If it misses that shipment and goes out on 5/25, it would get to Baltimore by the 9th of June. I'm sure there are other shipments, but based on this info it looks like my car could be at the dealer around the beginning of next month/the end of this month. What's been people's experiences around shipments into Port of Baltimore and if you know mini of Alexandria?

My SE went from Baltimore to Minneapolis in less than 24 hours once it finally left the carrier's facility. Unfortunately, it was stuck with the carrier for two weeks after being "released to carrier" by MINI. I don't know if the truck had any stops on the way, or if the entire truckload went to my MINI dealer.

Neither MINI nor MINI of Alexandria has control over the trucks that carry their cars the final delivery miles. The delivery times to the same dealer vary considerably and I don't believe they are even trackable by anyone other than the trucking company management.
