Hi- new here so I apologise if this is the wrong thread. I built my SE and paid the $250 reservation on the 2nd of May. My dealer (SoCal) called me later in the afternoon to say that their order system is being blocked by Mini until the 9th of May. Apparently there are some more changes happening (e.g., manual production halted) but Mini are prioritising the SE. I asked whether additional functions/trims are going to be affected by everything going on and my dealer said he wasn't sure. However, he seemed fairly confident that my order (Signature+) will be fine and is hoping for a November delivery. Has anyone heard about this latest order freeze/block?

It looks like a lot of those Minis heading to Baltimore are on the K-Line RORO ships. My vehicle is scheduled to be completed on 5/11. I imagine it would be on the 5/15 departure out of Southampton arriving in Baltimore on 5/24. If it misses that shipment and goes out on 5/25, it would get to Baltimore by the 9th of June. I'm sure there are other shipments, but based on this info it looks like my car could be at the dealer around the beginning of next month/the end of this month. What's been people's experiences around shipments into Port of Baltimore and if you know mini of Alexandria?

Less than a day. it is only an hour drive. If you see my data in the spread sheet, my car arrived at the Port of Baltimore on the 22nd. It then switched status to in transit on the 26th and arrived at dealership on the same day. However, that system is a little off sometimes. On the 28th I contacted the dealer and they said the car would show up "any day now" and arranged for me to pick it up on the 3rd. So bottom line, expect to pick up the car 1-2 weeks after it arrives at the port.

My wife's signature BRG (with heated steering credit) has got a production # today. It was ordered on 29 march deposit/31 March at dealer order and I did update the color on 5th April to BRG. It is expected to go in production 3rd week of May! So excited that our Signature is in the queue now....They aren't possible anymore I think; website no more shows $29,990 starting price for mini SE!

The VIN yet not assigned but I think I might have figured it out (not sure if that is correct) WBA8J1C56JA485XXX ?? does this look like a VIN for mini?

It is the right length.
 
I find myself checking the Mini Garage way too much for the back-end order status data on my base model SE in status 150.

About a week ago (around 4/28), my final production date shifted from 5/5 to 5/11. Crossing my fingers that I keep the same production date!
 
Made my weekly call to MINI Canada and got a different agent for the first time in four weeks. Unlike the other agent, this one told me that the status was “sent to production” but said there was no other information available, neither a VIN nor a production week, and suggested (of course) that I contact my hard-to-reach MA for more up-to-date, detailed information.

Who else here paid a deposit during the third week of March (or got a production number the fourth week of March) and still hasn’t gotten an update? Getting a little cheesed that I was told it was an “April allocation” and it “should be delivered by the end of May or early June,” only to get zero updates seven weeks in.
 
Lol MA just sent me this screenshot of the Vehicle Inquiry. Hmmm deposit March 18, production number the 25th, order was only sent “2/04”? Also, the screenshot shows “Other vehicles with same production number exist.” ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
