Delivery Spreadsheet - Let's Track These Inbound SEs

One concern I have with getting the 2023 too early is the availability of state EV rebates. In California there are two rebates, the CCFR ($750) and the CVRP ($2000). Their eligibility list hasn’t been updated for the 2023s. My understanding, based on correspondence with them, is that they have to be on the list at time of purchase to be eligible for the rebates.

Last year my mom took delivery of her 22 SE on April 20th and by that time the 2022 had already been added to the CCFR and the CVRP was added about a week after delivery. With CVRP you have 3 months from purchase to submit an application.

I'm keen to see who gets the first 2023 SE and when. I am especially interested in what kind of charging cord is included (for North America).
Ditto. Canadian dealer only pointed out the L1 cord in the boot on the '22 demos, made no mention of the FlexCharger.

Anyone have their vehicle leave out of Liverpool? My MA told me it got on a ship on the March 21 for Halifax, Canada without any further information - but the only ship I can find on that day departed from Liverpool instead of Southampton. Could it be that there's not enough room on the vessels in Southampton?

Received an update that it only used 5 days to cross the Atlantic and arrived in Halifax, Canada on the 26th. It didn't even update quick enough for me to find out which vessel it was on and how it cut the 7/8 day voyage short. I guess it's something I'll never know lol

Waiting for it to board the train to get across to the west coast now

Good to know. By the time the first 2023s roll in they should make it to the lists.
The CVRP fine print seemed to imply the vehicle needed to be eligible at time of purchase. Since your mom received the rebate even though it only became eligible a week after purchase that’s good news as well.

It was a long wait....about six weeks for the production number. The whole process from order to picking up the car was about four months.
The waiting is hard I really hope that they will give me an update soon. Did they send you the production number without asking?

Were you able to track its production at all? Called BMW in Toronto today and the rep said mine has yet to be assigned a VIN, but that calling the dealership would probably be a better option going forward as they’ll have the latest information at each stage.

Yeah you can contact your MA for the most accurate and detailed info, which they may get annoyed if you message them 2-3 times a week. OR you can call MINI Canada 1 (866) 378-6464 and talk to a Rep there by repeatedly saying 'agent' in the automated directory. But even there I've only gotten maybe 2 or 3 different reps. But hey you won't ever have to see them unlike your MA.

Lol ok thanks! :) Yeah I guess that’ll be my MO. Signed on March 18 for an April allocation, got the production number from my MA early on the 28th, so I have my fingers crossed I’ll get a VIN within a couple of weeks and he can then update me on the stages of production before I start tracking a ship. Who knows, maybe I will have it for summer!

I’ve looked into all the possible rebates in CA. My dealer will give us the CCFR if funds are available when the car arrives. I expect we’ll get the $7,500 rebate since I don’t expect MINI to hit the 200,000 threshold. I’m over the income threshold for the CVRP. They lowered the threshold as of Feb. 24. There’s another $1,000 rebate, but it requires you to get rid of a vehicle that has failed a smog check. None of my vehicles have a failed check and I can see all for more than $1,000.

Finally spoke to my dealership today and got a production number for my 2023 order. He claimed it still showed a March build, but obviously things are delayed and we should expect that to be pushed out. Happy to have something added to tracking in Mini Garage though!

I really wish I could get in touch with someone who has their info on the spreadsheet (they seem to be same dealer/timeframe ordering), but their name on the sheet doesn't seem to be a user here, anyone else experience this?
I'm one of the people on the spreadsheet from the same dealership. I see you have your production number! I assumed they didn't have on for me yet, since they said they would email it to me once they had it. I will be emailing them tomorrow to check!

Yea - check with your MA. I didn't receive it automatically, I had to e-mail/call.

Looks like I've been bumped to Week 17 for my build now.

Was originally week 12, then 13, then as of March 24th it was Week 14. Spoke to Ask Mini just now and it's showing Week 17 (week of April 24th) as of today.

She claims they do move up and down frequently, and I could keep calling to check, but that it all depends on parts availability.

Yup. Called again today, no VIN yet, same rep as last Wednesday. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯ I’ll check with my MA. Maybe I’ll ask him if it’s too late to change my colour choice and that’ll force him to look into it.

My '23 is out of the factory and on the way to the UK port. I figure I should get my hands on it sometime in early May. That would be 4 months after I put my reservation in and a little less than three months after my dealer put in the order.

That puts your build time at about 2.5 weeks, right? Quicker than I expected!

I got my VIN on the 16th, so that is official production start. That status change happened while the Oxford plant was shutdown. 2 days from the next step, body assembly (3/30), to awaiting carrier assignment (4/1).
I seem to be exactly two weeks behind you, so I'm anxiously watching your progress :)

How do you find this hidden info? My build is also in the same step and I'd love to see the approximate start date.

Thanks!
While logged into Mini My Garage (in Chrome browser on your desktop) - Press F12 to open Developer Options. A window will appear on the right of your page.

From there click on the "Network" tab at the top of the Developer Options tab and then Select "Fetch/XHR" tab just below that.

Now click on "My Vehicles" in the My Garage page (or refresh the page if you're already on "My Vehicles"), and you'll see some entries populate on the developer options side:

You can then click on the (usually first entry) "forward?group..." line and drill down into it to see estimated Production Date. This should be the estimated actual completion date for production. This is/was my experience using this info on the BMW side, and it looks identical on the Mini side so I don't see why not. I may give Ask Mini a call to confirm they see the same date as the actual production date estimate.
