I found a site where you can order replacement wiper blades for a 2023 Mini SE.

Parts Geek

After searching for blade inserts and failing to find any, this seems like the next best option.

I did try new bosch blades but they have a bigger profile that is annoying to look at through the windshield.

Well, part of the problem is that I can’t find wiper inserts anymore and this is the only place I could find the blades.

My dealer wanted $100 and I paid $75 total ordering and installing them myself.

I would really like to just buy and install the inserts myself but I can’t find them.

Inserts used to be about $20 for all of them a few years ago.

But, the wiper industry seems to be colluding with the dealers and even tire businesses in now charging everyone $90+ in my area to install new blades.

The 3rd party blades all have a hump in the blade that is noticeable when driving.

Bought a replacement set last year from autohaus in Arizona:
Bosch Wiper Blade Assembly

$9.11

$8.64
Shipping was $9. Total was under $30. Looked again this year and price went up a little, so I just bought cheap Bosch (not OEM) off Amazon. Haven't installed them, yet.

I tried the Bosch blades but they have a large hump that I found pretty annoying and distracting.

They work and are cheaper if you are ok with look.

My goal with this thread is to have a future reference because it was hard to find replacement blades and inserts.

The ones posted by Ghost are the same ones that I tried and didn’t like.

No, I don’t think they are OEM and you can see the bump I mentioned in the pics. The OEM blades are completely flat in the middle.

When I swung by autozone the other day they had racks of inserts from various vendors. My last set of OEM blades the dealer installed sometimes chatters a bit far right of the passenger side. Anyone have any luck adjusting for this? Next time I may look for something else.

For me $24 at the dealer parts counter for inserts. One had torn when it stuck to the windshield in a recent ice storm. About 5 minutes to install, 2 of that figuring out how to get the old rubber out - the tip of each blade "locks" into the last claw. I tore the old rubber out of the claw and the rest slid out. Then transferred the metal springy things back exactly the way they were into the new blades and slide then on from the bottom to the top. Note the blades have a top position where they lock into the last claw as before.

As always, do one at a time so you can reference the right way if you drop something or get confused.

I just installed some cheap Bosch blades from Amazon the same way by removing the old rubber and reinstalling w the metal guides into my old plastic housing. Next year, I'm going to buy the complete replacement bc the plastic (looks like FRP) is faded and starting to show fibers.
