Yes, this is the way most cars work now. The "check engine" or "MIL" (Malfunction Indicator Light) indicates that there are diagnostic codes that have been recorded. As it is yellow it is only a warning, not a problem. It generally resets after 24 hours or so.Yes, that is normal behavior after the charging error. It should reset (light will go out) after a day or two of driving.
Thanks for the reply! This happened after getting the multiple warning lights after the charging station stopped charging the car for some reason. All of those went away on their own, but that one remained, so weird.
I used to get these warnings 2x per week when I used my work chargers. After the 097 software fix the car charges almost all the time without any issues (Clarity is a bit more sensitive then other EVs at my work) and I have not seen those warnings on the dashboard at all.All these reports of warning lights after using a public charger have me very leery of charging anywhere except at home! I have not used a public charger yet.
Yet, it clearly is "broke"...“if ain’t broke.....”
Just remember, you're still four times better than the idiots commuting in their F250 trucks on an mpg scale of betterness [emoji14]I got that light a few times using my work chargers. If you have an OBDII you can clear that yourself.
My work chargers never charge back to full so I have just stopped using them. Now I just charge at home. It's sad because it's 60 miles round trip for me to work which means I spend at least some mileage a day in HV mode.
Hahaha!! I USED TO BE THAT GUY! I have a 2006 Nissan Titan and I was spending 400 dollars a month on gas. Hence.....The Clarity....which I love.Just remember, you're still four times better than the idiots commuting in their F250 trucks on an mpg scale of betterness [emoji14]

In all fairness though....whenever someone needs something moved who do they call....the Clarity owner or the Titan owner?
