Hi Everyone,
We're BACK!

After a short downtime, we are back up and running on our upgraded platform.

A few things to note:

- We removed Tapatalk. If you were a Tapatalk user, please just go to the regular website url and install the PWA. I gave some insights on that here: https://www.insideevsforum.com/community/threads/upcoming-outage-upgrade-notice-10-10-2025.20541/

- Some things look a little different. The software has evolved, and so has placements of some buttons and links you are used to clicking. In no time, this will feel comfortable too. Most popular forums are on the newer version of the platform, so if you frequent other sites, it will likely be a welcomed change.

- Mobile device use is vastly improved. If you had issues in the past, try it again! This version has a much more robust responsive design - a big word for saying it just works better on any size screen and reduces wideness for height where necessary to avoid zooming and scrolling.

- There's hundreds of bug fixes and other major improvements in the software.

I'll correct the colors of the links. they should stand out and it's not good as-is, i agree

I liked the former feature that had check marks on the unread comments for each thread. Can we get that back or am I missing something?

By default, clicking the thread title will take you to the first unread post. Note the URL I'm hovering on:
1760189680301.webp

takes you to /unread. This will land you where you left off last.
 
As someone who reads every InsideEVs post, I like that I can now click "WHAT'S NEW" in the top bar and then "New posts" to see every post I haven't read. It saves me the time to scan down the list, looking for green-boxed forums. I don't like that when I highlight text to edit I cannot read the text I've selected because the highlight is a solid black bar.
 
Thanks for all the comments and posts. However, even with the new posts on top, I need to remember where I left off. That is why I liked the former check marks on the unread posts. Am I still missing something?

Great job @brianc35 , I really like the attach files for pictures...no more Imgur and bbcodes.
And as @insightman points out the "Whats new" saves a lot of searching.

Any chance you have an old screen shot if how this looked? I can't picture it
