Why would LG Chem not raise its prices in response to higher demand? The effect of supply and demand on pricing hasn't stopped working just because it's the 21st century!
When it comes to EV batteries, at least for the next few (or several) years, it's going to be a seller's market. Supply is going to lag behind demand as auto makers put more and more models of long-range plug-in EVs into production.
