Volvo V60 To Get 2 PHEV options

The Volvo V60, coming to the UK this Fall, and the US in 2019, will have two different plug-in hybrid (PHEV) options.

Both are said to return 28 miles of AER (all-electric range) from a 10.4 kWh battery.
  • Volvo V60 T6 Twin Engine – 340 hp, 590 Nm
  • Volvo V60 T8 Twin Engine – 390 hp, 640 Nm
It's a handsome wagon, to be sure, but the starting price ($44,275/£31,810/€35,954) makes me think these PHEV options might be pushing the affordability for many shoppers.

I think the more powerful T8 will be in the V90, not the V60. I’m looking forward to when they arrive in Canada! So far we can order the V60 only.
