Vinyl stripes matching energetic yellow?

I'm curious how you're going to do this? I may want do the same! Thanks!
This is Cricut's bright yellow on black. It's pretty close to energetic yellow. I don't have the time/desire to get the right fonts. Since I made this, I read that you have to carry a special certificate from one of the companies that piloted making the vinyl plates, so I stuck this on my toolbox instead.

I think that turned out great! I too live in CA and wasn't aware vinyl license plates were becoming a thing?

Thought about this for the front end, but our bumper isn't quite tall enough.

I could scan my actual plate in and then cut the characters out in the bright yellow vinyl and stick them on.

I also thought about mixing some white acrylic powder to the por-15 paint I already have until I get closer to energetic yellow.
