Views on 2023 model of IPace - worried about all the fire concerns and the reliability

I just purchased a Ipace and am now reading all these terrible reviews for it and articels about spontaneous combustion and not to park it in my garage. I got a 2023 model. Anyone else with this car who can reassure me or tell me the facts as they know it.

As far as I know, there hasn't been any recent discussion of the I-PACE on the InsideEVs forums. Here's a WhatCar? thread about the Jaguar EV's problems. Last year, CarScoops wrote Jaguar had to buy back nearly 3,000 I-PACE cars from US owners.

In 2019, the car was named World Car of the Year; if you can keep your I-PACE running, you will have a very nice and rare collector's car. You should consult with a local Jaguar dealer to determine what recall updates your I-PACE might be eligible for.
 
LG had a manufacturing issue at that time:
From the CarScoops article "Battery-related problems have plagued the I-Pace for several years. The batteries, sourced from LG, are said to be prone to thermal overload and can catch fire."
I would have expected LG to replace the packs with updated ones as they did for Bolt and Kona EVs.
As @insightman wrote above, the best approach would be to contact Jaguar and try to get the ball rolling on a warranty replacement.
Not likely to happen or there would have been a pack replacement campaign already (not a buyback).

Thankk you @insightman and @electriceddy. This very helpful. Should I contact Jaguar directly or the car dealership I bought it from (I bought second hand) you see.
I would start with contacting "a Jaguar dealer with qualified EV service tecks", not necessarily the one you purchased from (unless you have had good experience w/them before)
If not good results, then feel free to contact Jaguar directly for the rep in your area.
