For those curious about the CO2e of the U25 BEV, the approximate numbers work out to:
Scope 1 & 2: 0.3t per vehicle produced
Scope 3: 13.4t for supply chain & logistics (0.7t for inbound/outbound delivery).

Comparing to the International Energy Agency 2021 numbers, they estimate an ICE vehicle would take about 6.0t CO2e to produce. For the Countryman C, the supply chain is 8.1t CO2e and 0.4t CO2e to produce implying BEV components would take 5.3t CO2e. Add the 5.3t CO2e and the 0.3t CO2e for production and it's 5.6t CO2e for the U25 BEV!

Short story is that BMW really managed to get the U25 BEV life cycle emission numbers comparable to global ICE. Anyways you can go search for the related sources, I just have a huge disdain for websites that use lazy AI copypasta writing. Next time I'll just post everything as images!
