Both are better than those stinky petrol fuel cars out there. lol
And I would add noisy,... esp trucks, motorbikes, and "sports" cars. Since we got our Kona, have been doing regular walks (almost every day) to our free charging station, and have really noticed how many smelly and loud obnoxious vehicles are on the road.

Anyway, good that you are keeping the Kona. And you might grow to appreciate the variety... There must be something with the Kona that is better than the Soul?...:)

Man what a snafu! Gotta admit I was sad to hear you were leaving our little "family" so part of me is (guiltily) happy. Sorry.

Well we had a big snafu today. Went in for the arranged appt. with a certified cheque and the Kona all spiffy and cleaned up. Turns out we and salesman had our wires crossed. I assumed (never assume anything) he knew we were negotiating for a 64 kWh model as that is what we bought in July. He assumed we wanted the 39 kWh model. We backed away as the added cost to us now was $16,000 versus $5000. And on top of that we were told the BC Gov't would ask us to repay the rebate we were given in February as it was less than a year since buying. What a mess it was. But I am a big believer that things happen for a reason so it was a waste of several hours, but we learned for next time to see all the preliminary paper work instead of just getting a copy of the amount that we would owe. So we still have a Kona EV and a Soul EV. Life is still good. Both are better than those stinky petrol fuel cars out there. lol
So 1 year is the limit (provincial), that part makes sense.
Just means you will have to wait a little longer... and maybe swing with a different dealer/salesperson without assumptions:rolleyes:

Along the way with all the poor communications with Hyundai while we were on the wait list for the Kona EV, and then so so communication with Kia it just makes me tired of car buying in general. The whole issue of rebates seems so poorly understood by the sales people that we left shaking our heads. Ed we do need a breather.
