Well, I guess he wasn't bluffing. He followed through on his threat to back out if the bots % couldn't be verified. Will see what happens to the Twitter stock price on Mon.
 
You bring up a subtle point that Internet advertising may be terribly expensive for no customers.

When a content provider advertises embedded in their content, I tend to listen. But repeated playing, interruptions of the exact same claims played minutes ago activates my MUTE and I seek other content. Everyone looses and YouTube pays after charging the fool who paid for it.
