Hi All,
I have been impatiently waiting for my new Mini to arrive stateside (U.S) since April. My car has FINALLY made it onto a ship. I was able to track down which ship it was on by the port destination. However, about three days ago after it left Southampton it stopped tracking. I am not sure if this is a paid feature or not. Has anybody else experienced this?
Also, I do know its ETA at the U.S. port. This is more so to watch the daily progress. Impatient, I know!

Also how long would you expect it to take to ship from Baltimore to Omaha, NE?

look at any other ship. Going from southhampton to oxnard means going through the canal. same with what you are looking at. a little under three weeks is my guess.

My ship is docking in Baltimore and should be transported from Baltimore to Omaha via cargo truck. I will have to look at some other ships to see if the satellite info is working. Thanks!

When my SE, Mike Wazowski, was sailing to Halifax, I was able to track the ship from Southampton to Bruges and then back to the west while in the English Channel. About 2 days out from the Channel entering the North Atlantic, tracking from land based stations was lost as it was out of range.
At that point, in order to continue tracking, I would have needed to sign up for a satellite-based tracking and I could not find any free services. I judged it to be too expensive to open an account just to track one ship.
I did keep checking and the ship did reappear at a point somewhere off St John’s, NL. As it turned south toward Halifax, it was again lost but the track resumed off Cape Breton Island.
I tracked the ship into the Halifax harbour and even after docking, I continued to monitor the ship’s progress to Baltimore.
Land based tracking services are almost all free but limited by radio range,

Land based tracking is free for most sites, satellite based is not, so once it goes out of range of land stations, you won't get updates unless you get a subscription.

Baltimore to Omaha, and Oxnard to Denver. I wonder where the cars for Lincoln would dock if Lincoln had a Mini store?
