Toyota's boushi (hat) is in the ring. Finally!
The automaker's CEO Akio Toyoda introduced the world to its electrification strategy in a livestream video that showed off 15 upcoming Toyota and Lexus models (some of which were concepts for models) and let it be known that they plan on introducing 30 all-electric models in total.
I haven't had a chance to watch the whole thing yet, and I'm curious what they say about their battery situation -- the video is actually titled "Media Briefing on Battery EV Strategies." They do mention that the Lexus sports car, for instance, will have a solid-state battery.
