Looking at getting new tires before winter. In northern Virginia. Mostly around town and some highway miles a few times a month. It's a 2018 Clarity, Touring, with 87k miles. Anyone have tires that they'd recommend?

Discount Tire and whatever Yokohama they have that fits. I think they're branded "GT" now.

I've heard really good comments about the Michellin Cross climate 2 in the FB forum, but with an impact on your electric range.

Live in West Michigan. I bought 17" rims for my Michellin X Ice snow tires. Greater and less expensive selection with 17" tires, plus 17" tires are supposed to be better in snow. When it came to replace the summer tires I bought another set of 17" rims and Michelling Cross Climate. We really haven't noticed much of a drop off in EV or HV mileage. We have 103,000 on our 2019 and have 40 mpg HV for the life of the car so far.
The smaller diameter wheels help compensate for the greater rolling resistance of your Cross-Climates.
I had winter tires put on our Clarity to get the car home from the showroom through an early 2017 snowstorm. Then I bought a set of Honda's Clarity accessory wheels for the OEM tires. The accessory wheels don't have the noise-reducing plastic resonators found in the OEM wheels, but I don't think they're noisy.
We don't travel far these days so our Clarity's odo shows a scant 26K miles. Both sets of tires look new, but, sadly, they're old. This winter, replacing perfect-looking tires is going to be a new experience for me.
In contrast, even though I have winter tires on my 2021 MINI EV 4-5 months every year, I've worn out 3 sets of summer performance tires on that car in 33K miles, thanks to their soft rubber and the joy of confronting our county's many roundabouts.
