Aptera's battery pack isn't one monolithic unit: It's a group of individual modules mounted to a frame that sits within the vehicle's aluminum frame - inside the body. Unlike many other EVs, Aptera's battery isn't mounted beneath the vehicle as the body continues as the vehicle's "belly". This image shows the some of the battery modules and their interconnecting coolant lines.
