The delusions/lies of the petrol industry

Versions of cigarettes are good for you:


1. Cheap gas matters (claim the that petrol isn't helpless and totally dependent) It doesn't and it is helpless and totally dependent on massive subsidies and bailouts has been for 70 years.

2. Hybrids are competitive for autonomy. They aren't not even remotely. The petrol part is totally redundant bagage that has to be carried around which drives down efficiency and storage space while driving up weight and maintenance costs.

3. Hydrogen is competitive- it isnt't its less efficient than petrol, but more polluting and more expensive- its petrol in disguise.

4. People who short tesla are smart. They are generally either not smart or evil or both.

5. Wars for petrol are necessary. Petrol is obsolete, straight replacement of petrol is the only option, the only war that makes sense is a war on petrol fuel and energy with the aim of getting rid of it as fast as humanly possible.

6. Petrol is good for the economy. No, petrol has been undermining the economy for 70 years.

7. Climate change can be discounted. No the existence of petrol and subsidy driven petrol profit (tribute) is not and never has been worth any serious risk to humanity.

8. That petrol has property rights. It doesnt it was paid off long ago and those stupid enough to continue to invest in it fell on their sword. Everyone else has a right to self defense, up to and including the destruction of those non rights and forefeiture of life liberty and happiness for those insisting harming with petrol externalities political or otherwise. What petrol has is 70 years of massive debt which its illgotten subsidy generated wealth must be liquidated toward paying off immediately- but won't remotely cover the bill.
