Testing - 1, 2, 3...

How does Aptera achieve a repeatable test for solar-power generation? Is that part of the Greenlight software suite?
They've had a "buck" framework with the solar panels mounted as they would be on the vehicle sitting on the roof of one of the co-CEO's carports for several years, now, monitoring their output: They went into building the vehicles with this as a known commodity.

Can the Aptera report the amount of energy coming from the solar panels? Is that data available on the screen via a menu selection?

In the current "demo" version of the software it's CONSTANTLY showing the amount of energy being generated - which I think will be rather annoying... In a recent short video co-CEO Steve F parked a validation vehicle in his driveway, aimed it at the sun and opened the rear hatch: The vehicle was generating more power than was the roof-mounted solar on his house!

Aptera's contoured, hardened-glass solar panels are amazing! I expect they will find many other applications beyond powering the Polydrops travel trailer and the solar cab-roof/tonneau cover on the tiny Telo truck.

Have Aptera's engineers solved the problem with glare coming from the dash-mounted solar panels?

The glare was an intermittent issue, happening only at a certain time of day on a specific road when the vehicle was headed in one specific direction - but this also happened to be the time and place when most of the test-drives were taking place! Aptera told us that it was testing several different options to mitigate glare: They did not go into specific detail, only saying that they would "solve the problem".
