Tesla plant in India

Hi everyone, basically I want answer from Tesla whether they r going to set a plant in India? If yes , then when?

From what I understand, it is supposed to come this year, but I wouldn't be surprised if it's delayed for one reason or another.
India has a 60% customs duty on import of completely-built electric cars priced under $40,000 and 100% for those priced more than $40,000, so they might need some sort of final assembly done there, similar to its operations in Tilburg, Netherlands.

Ya but as per new GST bill , the slab has been reduced.

See, actually slab is the total percentage of tax u pay, as u said about the 60% custom duty, here 60%is the tax slab
