Not that anyone needed to check him, but @Sandroad is definitely right that the aluminum spoked 145/80/17 spare from a 2009 Infiniti G37x clears the front brake calipers just fine. I needed to take my front tire off anyway and threw the spare on it for a minute. Do note, however, that even though it fits on the front, a donut spare is better to run on the rear for more stability and traction. So if you have time to put one of the rear wheels on the front and put the donut on the back, that is a much better option for driving any significant distance.I can confirm that the spare tire/wheel combo in the first post in the thread I linked to does fit and works ok on the front of the Clarity PHEV. Details on how to make that spare work safely with hub rings and new lugs nuts are later in the thread.
