Correct. I'm the Forum moderator and it's pretty rare that I delete anything. We've got some pretty great members.
I was thinking the same thing as you last night. Then I thought maybe it was a personal message but nothing in the inbox lol.
They have 2 ceramic blues with grey/blue interiors on their website now, hopefully one is yours. I find the websites a bit deceptive though as most dealers are putting their pre-orders on their once they get it in. Either they have to do this, or they are just trying to drum up business by having people call to inquire about them. "Oh I'm sorry that one is already sold, but we have this cancelled order or we can pre-order one for you". I personally emailed your dealer on Sunday and they said they had a Ceramic Blue with Black interior available.
For anybody else looking in BC, Lougheed Hyundai has a few available right now, I think some cancellations.
Which one did you order Wildeyed? Did the dealer give you a date?

I ordered a Blue with light interior. But I'm in Ontario east of Toronto which seems to be a dividing line between the haves and have-nots right now. They said Feb. 20th but they just pull dates out of their butts.

I got a call from my dealership letting me know my car arrived today. I am going in tonight to sign the paper work. The car will be available 2 -3 days after that. I was surprised by the call as I did not getting any updates since they called with the official price at the beginning of January.
I am the first at this dealership (in Ottawa). The sales manager is very excited and is going to have the car available for us to look at tonight.
Order date was July 10th

That's great! Thanks for letting me know. So now we know the great Eastern Ontario roadblock is broken. But now there's no reason for mine to be further delayed.

My dealer (midtown Toronto) just texted to say my Kona is now at their lot - going to go see it tonight. Given this crazy icy weather, should I be asking them to throw in a deal on winter tires? I'm a little nervous driving in this weather with the OEM tires - anyone had any experience driving with the OEM tires in ice / sleet yet?

We aren't good testers of icy/snowy conditions as we are in Vancouver. But we took delivery of our car yesterday and as a condition of sale we requested all weather tires at dealer cost with installation free. We bought the Michelin CrossClimate all weather ones which had good reviews in UK for similar climate as BC. We have snow predicted in the next day or two so we may have some info on how they perform by the weekend. Temps here hanging at around -8C at night and 0 C during the day of late. I think our tires were about $900 including tax.

d-b in GTA and picking mine up tonight - Not ideal weather for a new car. I was going to wait on the winter tires for next season but they were able to get me a pretty decent price on alloys with michelin x-ice winters when compared prices with some other places (ie. costco, kaltires etc). At first they quoted me for Nexen winter tires, but were able to get in the michelin's for me.
Congratulations CJC, if the tires you installed were the Michelin crossclimate+ 215/55 R17 XL 98W (as in the UK forum), will you let us know how they handle , sound on dry roads and if I got the designation or tire model # correct and where you bought them...Thanks

Just doing some sleuthing. The last 5 digits of the VIN appear to be order of production. Any publically listed VINs I have found appear to all be in the range of 20000 to 21000 . Just curious, if you have a car or vin, where you fall in or out of this range? Mine is 22410 and is apparently at the end of the line. Do any of you with cars (or delivery dates) have numbers closer to 20000? It might help me guess where I fall in the grand scheme. Remember "cars will be allocated according to pre-order dates"?
