Supercharger Access

Currently Ford, Rivian, General Motors, Volvo, Polestar, Nissan, Lucid, Mercedes-Benz, Hyundai, Genesis, and Kia all have access.

I had a chance to buy a used AtwoZ adapter, so I’m very anxious to try it out.

Has anyone heard anything about when BMW/MINI will get Supercharger access?

There are rumblings about Nov 2025 via dealer bulletins. I'd reckon it's to ensure compatibility with the 800V Neue Klasse EV architecture also launching in November (iX3 and other models).

Per a comment from Gabriel Bridger near the end of the Woofcast 701 edition of the White Roof Radio podcast, MINI will start including NACS adapters with the 2026 Countryman SE starting with the November production. Native NACS ports are expected as part of the Countryman's LCI. No comments or speculation about when those adapters will be available to those of us who already have our MINI EVs.

Well start of production on the U25 LCI is March 2026, which effectively means May 2026 or later. Maybe a some extra range and better charging all at the cost of the loss of the $7,500 tax credit, one keyfob, and pre-tariff pricing.

I've had the adapter for my F-150 Lightning about a year now although I had to wait a long time for it, and my friend with a Hyundai Ioniq 5 just found out he won't get his until November. So apparently rollout is very slow for almost everyone.

Figuring out how to get the charger to release the Magic Dock adapter was the only hard part.

That’s funny because when I charge my Tesla at magic dock sites I always get the CCS plug. It always takes me a couple tries to get the NACS plug.
