So now my clarity has a new issue. When I change the steering wheels direction, I hear a clunk. Nothing underneath the car seems to indicate any problems. Anyone have any similar issues or insights? Curious too how many of you have read suspension noise, my clarity has has noisy suspension on both the front and rear for awhile now, but it seems to be getting worse.

I had to change my outer tie rod ends on my accord right before I traded it in. Have you done the old wheel wobble test with the front end of the car in the air?

Not yet, but I'm planning on doing that later on today.
How many miles do you happen to have on your clarity by chance?

Also, for my own curiosity, do you have a steeper apron at the end of your driveway? And when you pull in/out are you at or near full lock on your steering input?

Nearly 80k miles. Nothing steep at the driveway, and I sometimes go to full lock when parking, but not always.

Ah, I had a steep apron on my driveway when I had the accord. I came down off of it rough one too many times and developed my steering clunk from that

Update, wobble test came out fine. I'm starting to think the issue might be the power assist rack (lower rack iirc) because from the wheel everything feels fine and there is no slop.

Any way to send a video of it? Or too subtle to catch on a phone?

Other members earlier on had issues with wheel bearings. That might be what's making the noise.
I doubt that, bad wheel bearings typically make noise when they are rolling, not while stationary. I don't hear any noise from the wheel bearing while rolling, and if they were making the noise while moving the steering wheel, I would bet the bearings would have to be really screwed up.

I think it's the tie rods, either inner or outer. I'm thinking I'll just replace both of them on each side. I more or less have ruled out the steering rack (yay!).
