But Red Roof costs less if you're staying there and have the time for overnight charging. As energy costs rise, I wonder how much longer places like the Red Roof Inn will continue to allow free overnight charging?

I don’t remember charging at a Red Roof. I use them for their pet friendly, first dog free, policy.

So far I am 25 for 25 at PFJ with finding an open working stall, Autocharge+, get/do what we need inside, and often have used the squeegee and windshield cleaner. The sites with canopies are a plus.
