Maybe I am just more tolerant and patient than most people.
Umm, patience and tolerance didn't have anything to do with it for me.
For me it's objective risk-aversion.

This seems like it may be sage advice. Now 30,000 km after my original the motor was replaced at 17,000 km for the wheel of fortune bearing failure chatter(started at 5000 km) the noise is definitely back. I really hate the idea of going back to the dealer and complaining about this yet again and this also after over a dozen unscheduled warranty visits in its first year. Now if I could only get the battery recall label of my car I might be able to convince the wife its time to move on despite the depreciation hit. I don't think I have would enough faith in a first year Ford product but a Tesla would would be a definite consideration.Walk on by. Ford eMach, Tesla Y are on my list after the battery replacement
Did you have your reduction drive replaced at the same time? This seems like it may be sage advice.
