SoC thoughts relevant to excessive high revs/power loss.

I cannot help but wonder if my Clarity battery was damaged or life shortened by a dealer that let it fall below 2 bars charge.
The only accurate way to assess the health of the 17 kW traction battery is to have the dealer hook it up to their i-HDS and measure the Battery Capacity Signal. It is nominally 55 Amp hrs when new. If it’s significantly (small variance due to temp OK) lower then you have a problem. If so then it’s going to be a real hassle warranty wise since Honda only warrants the battery to be above 36.6 Amp hrs for 8 years (10 in Cali) which is a pretty low threshold.
It’s unfortunate that almost all dealers are absolutely clueless about this car.
