Snow/Ice Buildup

Has anyone where it snows a lot driven their Clarity much in the winter? I'm interested in learning whether the "felt" material in the wheel wells and underbody accumulates snow/ice; specifically whether the rear wheel well gets jammed up with what my wife calls "road snot".

We called those “fenderbergs”. I’m curious too, esp. as I am trying to decide whether to install the splash guards. In winter are they bothersome ice collectors?

It didn't seem any worse than other cars.
