The RepairPal website says there are two RepairPal Certified shops in Ann Arbor that can service a Tesla. The closest MINI dealer for work on my electric MINI Cooper SE is 40 miles from me and Michigan's only other MINI dealer is 130 miles away in Grand Rapids.

The Aptera arrangement must be a first for RepairPal. Google reports:
"RepairPal does not have direct, formal partnerships with traditional vehicle manufacturers (like Toyota, Ford, or Honda). Instead of aligning with specific car brands, RepairPal’s primary relationships are with extended warranty companies, insurance providers, and used-car retailers."

There are three RP Certified shops in Jackson - 65 miles away - but none of them mention the ability to work on EVs. That said, the only Tesla repair center in the state is another 10 miles east of Jackson: The only time I've needed service on the M3 (to replace a puckered door gasket), Tesla came to my house...

Thirty-five miles east of Jackson, on Jackson Road in Ann Arbor, is a Tesla corporate repair facility in what was once a large bowling alley. It's a couple of miles west of my home, right next to where MINI of Ann Arbor delivered my car the day before they went out of business in 2020.
 
Smart move. RepairPal has a good network. This was one of my concerns with Aptera honestly. Where do you take it for repairs? Glad they're figuring it out before deliveries start.
