They are odd looking lights? Obviously the Union Jack ones are out (at this stage). Shame, I liked them. Gave the back end a bit of character.

The tail gate looks similar, but different lights.

look closely (there's a closeup photo in the gallery), those are painted-on "lights". Underneath the cover you can almost make out the actual triangular shape.

Maybe Mini are trialing new stick on lights to give us the option to pick our own? (As an expensive option of course!)
