Self Driving Vacuums

Maybe iRobot and Tesla should compare notes...:) Both have some ways to go before they get this right, IMO. Robot vacuums are becoming mainstream now, but they are far from perfect. At least that is what I concluded after a little pre-purchase research.

iRobot with their Roombas have been around for a while, and are the current leaders. But lots of new challengers emerging, and I decided to give the Shark IQ a try. Costco had a deal on that was about 1/4 of the price of the top end Roomba (S9). And if we don't like it, very easy to return stuff with them.

Biggest challenges with these is the initial mapping out of the rooms, before they can efficiently do the job in a timely manner. Will see..., mine is supposed to arrive tomorrow.
